To determine a student’s level of Spanish for certificate issuance, their proficiency is evaluated continuously throughout the course, culminating in a final level test. Attending a minimum of 80% of the course is a prerequisite for receiving a certificate.

Tia Tula’s teachers are native Spanish speakers with academic backgrounds in philology or history. They have completed at least one course in ELE (Spanish as a Second Language) didactics and have extensive experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers.

Students are placed in the most suitable courses based on their Spanish language proficiency. This placement is determined through a level test, which can be taken either online before arrival or on the first day at the school. Additionally, an oral interview with the Director of Studies or a teacher helps ensure accurate placement.

Student progress is closely monitored through continuous evaluation. This ongoing assessment leads to a final examination, which serves as the benchmark for determining the student’s Spanish language level upon course completion.
