Which of the University of Alicante Spanish Courses is best for me?
The Language Centre, known as the Alicante University Centro Superior de Idiomas, in Spanish, is based in the centre of the Campus. So, you’ll feel truly part of the university community.
There are plenty of Spanish Courses at Alicante University Language Centre to choose from. So your choice will only depend on your current level or what you want to achieve.
Intensive Spanish Courses at the University of Alicante
The intensive Spanish courses at Alicante University Centro Superior de Idiomas (CSIdiomas Alicante) are an amazing opportunity to learn Spanish quickly and effectively.
And, the levels you can choose from are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for language (CEFR). See below:

Once you complete your course successfully, the prestigious Instituto Cervantes will then accredit your level of achievement.
Most importantly, you’ll be learning Spanish from Monday to Friday, from 9 am – 12 pm. And this will give you plenty of time to practice your Spanish in the ‘real world’.
There are 12 levels to choose from.
But unlike many other Universities or schools, if you study Spanish at the University of Alicante, you can take CERF levels right up to C2.
That means you’ll almost speak Spanish like a native.
Each level takes 4 weeks and you’ll be studying for 60 hours in total to achieve each CERF level. Just think of how improved your Spanish will be while you are there.
And if you spend your afternoons in the city chatting with locals or checking out local cafes and places of interest, it’ll be even better.
Of course, if you want to do your homework on the beach, nobody will mind.
If you’d prefer to take a shorter Spanish intensive course, the CSIdiomas Alicante are flexible.
For example, prices cover weekly courses so you can take lessons from 3 hours a day to 5.

Semester Course at the University of Alicante
If you’re studying or working in Alicante and want to study Spanish at the University of Alicante, you can.
The CSIdiomas Alicante offer courses that take 4 hours a week over 2 sessions of 2 hours each.
Therefore, it’s a perfect way to make your schedule work for your language learning.
As the title of the courses suggests, the dates of study take place during a ‘semester’.
Usually, this means from September to December or February to May.
The exact dates change each year so it’s best to check with the University.

Spanish Course Cost
485 € which also covers the cost of your course books.
In addition, to your CEFR level accreditation for passing your course, Erasmus students also gain up to 6 ECTS credits after their successful completion.
The Semester course at the University of Alicante is great for giving you the best of both worlds.
You study Spanish while you earn and get to practice your new language skills on the job.
Erasmus/Exchange Semester Course at the University of Alicante
Are you a European student completing an Erasmus exchange or an international student planning on an exchange program at the University of Alicante?
Then this exchange course is the best for you.
Because the course is not only exciting, it gives international students the best cosmopolitan experience.
The course runs from September to December and February to May.
The program gives students plenty of time to fit their language learning around their other studies.
And it still gives you time to pick up some amazing cultural experiences while you’re in Alicante.
And exchange students can expect to study for 4 hours a week for 2 hours over 2 sessions.
But there is still flexibility to fit your Spanish language classes around your timetable.

Your exchange program covers the cost of your course tuition and registration fees. But there is a nominal charge of 50 € to cover all of your course materials.
At the end of your successful program of study, Erasmus students are awarded a maximum of 6 ECTS credits, as well as the CERF credits for their level.
