• Possess a high school diploma (Bachiller) from any specialty. The university entrance exam (PAU) is not required.
• Hold a Technical Superior or Specialist Technician degree (Ciclo formativo de grado superior).
• Have passed the university entrance exam for students over 25 years old.
• Hold a BUP+COU diploma.
• Hold equivalent foreign qualifications to the Spanish high school diploma that allow access to university studies in the country of origin.

Yes, it is recommended to have a minimum level of B1 in both Spanish and English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Language proficiency can be demonstrated by presenting a language certificate issued by competent authorities or by passing LABA Valencia’s language test during the selection interview. Students who do not meet the B2 level requirement must participate in free language courses offered by LABA before and during the academic year.

The admission process consists of three main steps:

1. Pre-Registration: Complete the online pre-registration form providing personal details and uploading required documents (ID copy, motivation letter, portfolio if applicable). LABA Valencia will review your documentation and confirm your participation in the selection process.

2. Selection and Admission: Qualified applicants will be contacted by LABA Valencia to schedule an interview, which can be conducted via video conference or in person. During the interview, you will discuss your portfolio, general knowledge, artistic interests, motivation for the chosen course, and language skills.

3. Enrollment: Upon successful admission, you will receive a confirmation and documents for reserving your place, including the Enrollment Reservation Form and payment instructions. After paying the reservation fee, you will receive the Enrollment Kit. Complete the enrollment by submitting required documents and payment according to the chosen method.

The pre-registration period typically opens in January and closes by late August, subject to availability.

The MA in Photography is aimed at students who wish to deepen their knowledge and practice of photographic production and visual culture, particularly those interested in lifestyle editorial, visual content creation, art direction, and visual strategy.

Students will collaborate with world-renowned publishers and agencies such as OCIMAG, SCHÖN! Magazine, and Magnum Photos, providing insights into trends in fashion, culture, editorial, reportage, and art.

The program is designed for students and professionals interested in multimedia creation, video mapping, software, and technologies applied to various artistic disciplines such as installations, performing arts, and music. Participants should have knowledge of video, photography, and/or sound editing software.

The program consists of seven modules plus a module for the Final Master’s Project, focusing on multimedia and performing arts, videoscene/videomapping, sound and live composition, light art, interactive installations, and immersive experiences.
