Frequently asked questions

The student body at EU Business School includes over 100 different nationalities, and prestigious QS has consistently ranked the MBA program as #1 worldwide for internationality. Students gain true multicultural understanding at EU thanks to its diverse student and faculty body. In today’s globalized business world, this is an increasingly sought-after soft skill by employers.

EU students come from all over the world and speak, on average, three languages. EU’s faculty, as well as having excellent academic credentials, are part of the international business community and draw on their own professional experiences as entrepreneurs, consultants, and business leaders to support the learning and growth of students.

What’s more, EU is part of a global network of partner institutions with whom students can participate in exchange programs. These include Pace University in New York; the University of California in Riverside; Fisher College in Boston in the U.S.A.; Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico; and Stamford International University in Bangkok, Thailand, among others.

Yes. At EU Business School they believe in experiential learning. All courses include opportunities to meet and hear from leaders who are experts in their fields, to gain industry insights and to build a professional network.

EU Business School has a 30,000+-strong alumni network located across the globe. Via the alumni hub, the alumni members actively help the students through mentoring, publishing career opportunities and providing connections with contacts in new markets. All students can become a member.

During your first week at EU, the school organize an orientation week filled with fun activities including a tour of the campus city, a welcome party and campus tour. And activities run throughout the year. For example, you can join football and basketball teams, attend guest speaker sessions and visit top companies located near your campus for a privileged insight into how businesses really work. The student board also organizes special activities which have included a popular international food day where students share the culinary delights from their countries.

Yes. But please note that your acceptance offer will be conditional to the required results. Before starting the program, you will also need to submit the results from your English proficiency test.

Official exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, and CAE have a validity of two years. You will only need to retake the test if yours is out of date. For students unable to take an official exam, the school offers an internal EU English test that is valid when applying for their programs (although unfortunately not for BA Hons programs).

Yes, you can. But please note that your acceptance offer will be conditional to our receiving your diploma before the master’s or MBA program starts.

No. However, if you have a high school diploma, are over 25 years old and have five years of managerial experience, you can access the Executive BBA program, which is a one-year, two-semester program. After completing the Executive BBA, students without a bachelor’s degree can study one of EU’s master’s or MBA programs.

EU often place students internationally, but the opportunities available depend on the student’s sector, background, interests, and the languages that they speak.

An MBA offers fundamental business knowledge as well as specialist skills in a specific business area while a master’s degree focuses more comprehensively on a particular discipline.

GMAT and GRE scores are requested by many education institutions as part of the admissions process to MBA and master’s programs. Each exam has a quantitative, verbal, and written element to it, but questions vary. At EU Business School, they accept scores from either exam as long as they reach the required minimum. Alternatively, they look at a student’s academic record and GPA.

IELTS and TOEFL are both English language tests, and they accept either at EU Business School as proof of your ability to communicate adequately in English. The IELTS test is administered in the U.K. by the University of Cambridge, whereas the TOEFL test is administered in the U.S.A. If you are used to speaking and listening to either British or American English, it makes sense to choose the test administered in that country as you will find the vocabulary and idiomatic expressions used more familiar. At EU, students may take EU’s English-language test to be admitted to a program.
