DELE Diplomas are the official accreditations of Spanish Language competency.
If you want a definitive record of your command of the Spanish Language, you will need a DELE Diploma and the only way to achieve this is by taking a DELE exam.
DELE stands for Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera. DELE Diplomas follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) with DELE Diplomas available at all levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficiency).
Candidates can enroll for any of the levels on any of the DELE Exam dates 2022 and 2023 without having taken any specific previous course.
DELE Diplomas are recognized both in Spain and internationally as the official guarantee of Spanish linguistic competence.
If you are planning in 2022 or 2023 to work or study in an environment that requires you to communicate in Spanish, it is highly likely that you will need to provide DELE accreditation of your current level.
Registration for DELE exams 2022 begins on November 10, 2021.
Registration for DELE exams 2023 begins on November 9, 2022.
Since 2015, anyone, regardless of their nationality or country of origin, is eligible to register for a DELE exam.
DELE exams are divided into different areas with different tasks to assess the following skill sets: Reading comprehension, Written expression and interaction, Listening comprehension, and Oral expression and interaction.
