Pronouns are words which replace nouns and there are six different types of <a href=\"https:\/\/gogoespana.com\/en\/blog\/spanish-pronouns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spanish Pronouns<\/a>. In this lesson we will see <strong>Examples of Spanish Pronouns in use<\/strong> from each of the pronoun categories.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Examples of Spanish Pronouns in use:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Pronombres Sujeto (Subject Pronouns)<\/strong>: yo, t\u00fa, \u00e9l\/ella, nosotros\/as, vosotros\/as, ellos\/ellas (I, you, he\/she\/it, we, you, they).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nosotros no queremos estudiar m\u00e1s: We don\u2019t want to study anymore.<\/li>\n<li>T\u00fa eras muy estudiosa de peque\u00f1a: You were very studious when you were young.<\/li>\n<li>Ellos vivieron en Salamanca durante doce a\u00f1os: They lived in Salamanca for 12 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pronombres de Complemento Directo (Direct Object Pronouns):<\/strong> me, te, lo\/la, nos, os, los\/las (me, you, him\/her\/it, us, you, them).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tu hermana me llam\u00f3 ayer: Your sister called me yesterday.<\/li>\n<li>La profesora nos ha castigado por hablar mucho en clase. The teacher has punished us for talking too much in class.<\/li>\n<li>Raquel y Pablo te han invitado a su boda: Raquel and Pablo have invited you to their wedding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32717 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/gogoespana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Examples-of-Spanish-Pronouns-in-use-gift.jpg\" alt=\"Examples of Spanish Pronouns in use gift\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pronombres de Complemento Indirecto (Indirect Object Pronouns):<\/strong> me, te, le, nos, os, les (me, you, him\/her\/it, us, you, them).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Les voy a comprar un regalo: I am going to buy them a gift.<\/li>\n<li>Tu madre me dijo que estabas enfermo: Your mum told me you were sick.<\/li>\n<li>Os prestar\u00e9 mi coche si me dais algo a cambio: I will lend you (all) my car if you give me something in exchange.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pronombres Personales Preposicionales (Prepositional Personal Pronouns):<\/strong> m\u00ed, ti, \u00e9l\/ella, nosotros\/as, vosotros\/as, ellos\/ellas (me, you, him\/her\/it, us, you, them).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Esto es para ti: This is for you.<\/li>\n<li>A nosotros no parece bien: It seems good to us.<\/li>\n<li>Para m\u00ed, el espa\u00f1ol es un idioma muy interesante: For me, Spanish is a very interesting language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pronombres Relativos (Relative Pronouns):<\/strong> el que, la que, los que, las que, el cual, la cual, los cuales, las cuales, cuyo\/cuya, cuyos\/cuyas (who, which, that, whose).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hay personas cuyas vidas son muy peligrosas: There are people whose lives are very dangerous.<\/li>\n<li>Pedro, cuyo padre es el director de la empresa, es un vago: Pedro, whose father is the director of the company, is a lazy man.<\/li>\n<li>Nunca voy a olvidar a una persona cuyas palabras me han ayudado tanto: I will never forget a person whose words have helped me so much.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32724 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/gogoespana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Examples-of-Spanish-Pronouns-in-use-dog.jpg\" alt=\"Examples of Spanish Pronouns in use dog\" width=\"640\" height=\"528\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pronombres Posesivos (Possessive Pronouns):<\/strong> m\u00edo\/m\u00eda, m\u00edos\/m\u00edas, tuyo\/tuya, tuyos\/tuyas, suyo\/suya, suyos\/suyas, nuestro\/nuestra, nuestros\/nuestras, vuestro\/vuestra, vuestros\/vuestras (mine, your, yours, his\/hers\/its\/theirs, our, ours, your, yours).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Me gustar\u00eda que Toby fuera nuestro, es un perro adorable: I would like that Toby was ours, he is an adorable dog.<\/li>\n<li>Esta falda es m\u00eda, no quiero que te la pongas. This skirt is mine, I don\u2019t want you to wear it.<\/li>\n<li>La casa de Ana y Mario ser\u00e1 suya cuando ellos mueran: Ana and Mario\u2019s house will be his when they die.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pronombres Reflexivos (Reflexive Pronouns):<\/strong> me, te, se, nos, os, se (me, you, him\/her\/it, us, you, them).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sonia y Lisa nunca se peinan: Sonia and Lisa never comb their hair.<\/li>\n<li>Ma\u00f1ana me voy a levantar muy temprano: Tomorrow I am going to get up very early.<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfUsted se siente bien?: Do you feel OK?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pronombre Interrogativos (Interrogative Pronouns):<\/strong> \u00bfqui\u00e9n?, \u00bfqui\u00e9nes?, \u00bfqu\u00e9?, \u00bfcu\u00e1l?, \u00bfcu\u00e1les? (who? what?, which?).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfQui\u00e9nes eran los Reyes Cat\u00f3licos?: Who were the Catholic King &#038; Queen?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es tu abrigo? \u00bfEl marr\u00f3n o el azul?: Which one is your coat? The brown one or the blue one?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfQu\u00e9 quer\u00edas ayer? \u00a1Me llamaste diez veces cuando estaba en la cama!: What did you want yesterday?
