We learned the rules of how to use this tense for all persons and were happy to find out that it is a very user-friendly tense and much easier than the <a href=\"https:\/\/gogoespana.com\/en\/blog\/spanish-present-tense-with-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spanish Present Tense<\/a>. Now we are going to look in more detail at <strong>how to use el Futuro Pr\u00f3ximo<\/strong> and typical words and phrases associated with it.<\/p>\n<p>First, let\u2019s recap on the structure we need to remember to use this tense:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Futuro Pr\u00f3ximo: verbo Ir (to go) + a + verb (infinitive)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Yo \u2013 Voy \u2013 a &#8211; infinitive<br \/>\nT\u00fa \u2013 Vas \u2013 a &#8211; infinitive<br \/>\n\u00c9l\/Ella \u2013 Va &#8211; a &#8211; infinitive<br \/>\nNosotros \u2013 Vamos \u2013 a &#8211; infinitive<br \/>\nVosotros \u2013 Vais \u2013 a &#8211; infinitive<br \/>\nEllos\/Ellas \u2013 Van \u2013 a \u2013 infinitive<\/p>\n<p>So, just <a href=\"https:\/\/gogoespana.com\/en\/blog\/commonly-used-irregular-spanish-verbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spanish verbs<\/a> in infinitive (base form\/no changing of endings) for all persons. We simply have to remember to use voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van depending on the person doing the action of the verb.<\/p>\n<h3>Words and phrases commonly associated with El Futuro Pr\u00f3ximo:<\/h3>\n<p>Luego: Later<br \/>\nDespu\u00e9s: Later<br \/>\nM\u00e1s tarde: Later<br \/>\nEsta tarde: This afternoon<br \/>\nEsta noche: Tonight\/This evening<br \/>\nEste fin de semana: This weekend<br \/>\nEste verano: This summer<br \/>\nMa\u00f1ana: Tomorrow<br \/>\nPasado ma\u00f1ana: The day after tomorrow<br \/>\nLa pr\u00f3xima semana: Next week<br \/>\nLa semana que viene: Next week<br \/>\nEl pr\u00f3ximo mes: Next month<br \/>\nEl mes que viene: Next month<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, these words and phrases all point to occurrences in the near future. \u2018Pr\u00f3ximo\u2019 means \u2018Next\u2019 \/ \u2019Forthcoming\u2019 \/ \u2019Oncoming\u2019 in Spanish.
