In this topic we are going to learn different ways to give Opinion in Spanish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Giving opinion in Spanish and understanding how someone else is expressing their opinion is a very useful skill. So let’s see some handy verbs and sentence structures!<\/p>\n

Ways to express our Opinion in Spanish<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Here you are going to learn some of the most common and useful structures.<\/p>\n

We are going to practice these new structures with the modal verbs Tener que (To have to)<\/a>, Deber (Must)<\/a>, and Hay que (One has to)<\/a> we learned in recent topics.<\/p>\n

Creer: To believe<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The first structure is with the verb Creer which translates to To believe, in English.<\/p>\n

So, if we wish to say \u2018I believe that…\u2019 we will say: (Yo) Creo que…<\/p>\n

For example:<\/p>\n

  • Creo que todos debemos reciclar m\u00e1s: I believe that we must all recyle more<\/li>\n
  • Creo que tienes que estudiar si quieres aprobar el examen: I believe that you have to study if you want to pass the exam<\/li>\n

      The second structure is with the verb Pensar which translates to To think, in English.<\/p>\n

      So, if we wish to say \u2018I think that…\u2019 we will say: (Yo) Pienso que…<\/p>\n

          The third structure is with the verb Parecer which also translates to To think, in English.<\/p>\n

          So, if we wish to use Parecer to say \u2018I think that…\u2019 we will say: (A m\u00ed) Me parece que…<\/p>\n
